Little Blue House
When Mary Catheryn of Copper Corners asked me what i wanted her to paint for me, i immediately knew the answer. I went to Nicaragua 5 months ago to teach women in El Transìto how to make Casa Beads. Everyday i would walk pass this house and stare at it with awe. This little blue house was just so beautiful to me. The color blue symbolizes faith, peace & stability and that is exactly what i felt when I looked at this house. I left Nicaragua a different person. It was the first time I felt real peace with my life. Mary-Catheryn didn’t just paint a beautiful picture, she captured the peace i felt and immortalized it in this beautiful work of art.
Mary-Catheryn’s paintings are inspired by her childhood in Paraguay, South America. Brilliant, rich colors that create lively animals and scenes are trademarks of her painted pieces along with the copper corners. Every vivid brushstroke of this stunningly colorful piece completes the mesmeric artwork. Limited quantities available. The artwork is made to order and takes 3 weeks to produce.
